This project was made up of constructing 3500m of 600mm water transmission main including drain, air release and meterchambers, SWM facilities, storm, sanitary and road work.

There were two keys to success with this project. They were controlling ground water and commissioning the transmission main. The solutions were resolved with the following.
• Ground Water was controlled by installing pumps and digging trenches to allow the water to be handled safely and environmentally.
• Commissioning of the transmission main was done in three sections utilizing l82 knowledge and expertise and the use of the city of London’s swab catcher.

The project was completed on time and to the satisfaction of the engineer and owner.
