This project was made up of constructing 1500m of up to 350 mm Steel transmission steam mains six monitoring chambers, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, 300mm PVC watermain main and associated road work.

The steel Transmission steam main was installed with the strict monitoring of TSSA and onsite inspectors. The Transmission main was installed with a leak detection cable to monitor any change in pressure. The field welds were testing at every joint with mag testing.

Traffic management was the key to the success of this project. L82 and its construction team managed a hospital that was open 24 hours a day and had 10,000 people in and out daily from its facilities. Connecting to existing utilities was a major concern and was dealt with minimal disruption.

The Key for this projects success was the management, construction methods and traffic management knowledge of L82 and its construction team, the leadership and liaisons with the owner and the consultants.
